Radio Controlled Airplanes:

WE TEACH YOU TO FLY!

We fly Radio controlled airplanes, generally zagi's which are flying wings, every chance we get!

We generally fly on Saturday and Sunday, from 11am until 3pm, but have been known to fly earlier and later from time to time.

We do fly all types of planes, from powered gliders to slow-flyers and scale models too.

We have also been known to fly at night! (with lights on our planes)

We fly at Rancho San Rafael Park, located in Reno, near the corner of North Virginia and McCarren.

We fly on the west end of the large (9 acre) strip of grass. There are three entrances to the park where we fly.
1. East entrance is from Sierra (near Virginia),
2. the south entrance is via Washington Street
3. the west entrance off Coleman, which is near Keystone Ave.

About these 'electric' airplanes (that 'bounce'):
There are many models and manufactures of flying wings: TrickRC (zagi's), Wing Warrior and Combat wings to name a few.

"We", Phil Kalenowsky, of KitesPlus.com (and other flyers too!) teach people to fly RC airplanes.

If you ever wanted to fly a radio controlled airplane, but didn't know where to start, you had a plane but didn't want to crash-it or had a plane and did crash it, come share your story with us.  If you fly, and want to check out a flying wing... come on down!

I cannot  stress enough that  WE TEACH YOU TO FLY!
If you want to buy a plane, I have them for sale, but there is no obligation.
Come on down, and watch, and/or feel free to fly!

We teach you everything you need to know, from flying tips and tricks to safe-flying techniques.

One of the many unique things about the planes we fly, is that they 'bounce!'  (more than once :)
Yes, they are designed to take a beating and keep on flying!

They are made of a special type of Styrofoam called EPP.

Look here for more information later! And or email me Phil@Kitesplus.com to be added to the RC email list, so you'll find out when we fly, who is flying what, etc.
