Wednesday nights (after work, ie 5:30pm) are Kites-Plus "Fly-nights"
Wind=kites, no-wind=RC airplanes!

fun-fair 10-3pm, at Stead's location: (North Valley Regional
Sports complex)
Same location as the Fathers Day (Map below) location. (Kites
and Electric RC Planes may fly, based on the weather)
Sunday, June 9th is the first offical BBQ of
the year. It will be held at the standard Rancho BBQ location.
B-there for our mass Rev assention, we will attempt to break an old record of
10/11 Rev's in the air at once.
Sunday, June 16th is Fathers day, and one of our Biggest (Kite) events of the year...
Same place, same time! (North Valley Regional Sports complex
10am - 5pm)
Yep, we'll be at Stead for our 5th annual Fathers day Kite festival. 'Come fly with us!' !!! This is planned to be a kite specific festival.. but I imagine an RC plane or two might sneak in.. any may be welcome based on the wind conditions!

Night-fly (with lights),
kites and RC after dark. Meet at the west end of Rancho at/after 8:30pm
June 29th and 30th Squaw Valley, we'll meet 10am at the Cable-car Extra info
June 30th Club meeting at Rancho 1pm to discuss Kite club 'business' including a club banner, logos and whatever is on whoever's mind at the time, regarding the club, flying kites, RC planes, etc.
July 4th Who knows! but we'll be doing something, somewhere! (Rancho will be closed to cars all day), but open to foot traffic.
July 14th RNKC Pot-Luck BBQ at Rancho San Rafael, lets plan on eating at Noon.
July 14th RNKC Revolution and Mass kite assention 1pm, and possibly again at 4pm. (We'll try it in the afternoon, based on wind, and available kites, the time change for the sundaes in the park also may/will affect when we can do it.)
July 14th Sundae's in the park. 12:30pm Versus original 2pm, (Rancho San Rafael) The Park Rangers will bring a group of kids over to the main section and we'll discuss wind, how kites fly, different types of kites, etc. Hopefully they'll be some wind, and we can get some hands on for each and every young-in. It was fun last year, come out and watch, or better yet, participate!
July 27 & 28th. Berkeley Kite Festival, Don't miss it! Competition registration must be shipped by July 15th, contact Phil for extra info.
Aug 11th Sunday RNKC Pot-Luck BBQ
at Rancho San Rafael, lets plan on eating at 1pm.
Club meeting (2pm) to discuss AKA club affiliation, and bylaws.
Members present will vote on accepting and/or changing the pending bylaws.
