Reno Nevada Kite Club (and RC) events

Aug 2001

Aug 12th  -- Noon-5pm  Make a Wish Foundation,  Duck race and Kite flying (wind permitting) at         Windfield Park, downtown Reno.

Aug 19th -- RNKC, Kite Club BBQ and fun-fly at Rancho San Rafael, noon until 6pm-ish.

Aug 20-26th -- Long Beach kite festival http://www.kitefestival.com/   YES! a FULL week! ;)

Aug 26th -- Reno Radio Controlled Pylon (airplane) Race at Rancho San Rafael 9am -2pm. There will be the standard 7-cell speed 400 racers, as well as the stock zagi, and unlimited flying wing classes.

Aug 26th -- RNKC Sundae's in the park at Rancho (2pm -3pm or later...) demonstrating and teaching people to fly kites. Bee-there! or B-Square! :)
